Why do I need a browser extension? Can't I just use the website?
You can use the website at vault.missionet.co.za to view and manage passwords. But the extension is what makes day-to-day use frictionless — it detects when you're on a login page and fills your credentials automatically. Without it, you'd have to copy and paste every time.
How do I save a new password?
When you log into any website, the Bitwarden extension will offer to save the credentials. Click Save and it's done. Next time you visit that site, the extension fills them in automatically.
When creating a new account anywhere, use the Bitwarden password generator (the wand icon in the extension) to create a strong random password — you never need to remember it.
How do I access shared team passwords?
Shared credentials are in the Organisation section in your vault. These are managed by your administrator. Never share passwords directly over WhatsApp, email, or Slack — use the shared vault instead.
